League of Legends Preseason 2023: 5 Things We Want
By Daniel Mejia
Here are five things we'd like to see be included in League of Legends Preseason 2023.
Riot Games, the developer behind League of Legends, is gearing up to end Season 12 in November and start Season 13 in early January, but what happens in the time left over? Longtime League of Legends players know that this is the time known as the preseason, a chance for Riot Games to unveil new ideas.
Here are five things we would like to see be included in League of Legends preseason 2023.
League of Legends Preseason 2023: 5 Things We Want
1. Versatile AD Carry Items
ADCs have had it rough for the last few seasons. While a good ADC can carry the game, getting to that point has been getting harder and harder with the growing use of tank items. ADCs need a wider choice of items to build that would allow them to deal with those threats.
2. Better Jungle Support
Jungle has been an unpopular role as it is so vastly different to the rest of League of Legends. With many players not even knowing which champions can jungle or not, having the role become easier in some way would be ideal for players looking to break into the jungle role.
3. More Visual Changes and Updates
With League of Legends coming out in 2009, many champions reflect this point in the games life visually. We have gotten outright reworks like Udyr before but for the champions whose kit still holds up, only a visual rework is required.
4. Tank Champions Support
Tank champions have been out of the meta for some time now as people looking to play a frontlining champion typically go for a bruiser playstyle, a mix between tankiness and damage. We would like to see some support be given to tank champions to better include them and give people more reasons to play them.
5. Better Mage Items
With the addition of the item Crown of the Shattered Queen, we saw a rise of players taking it against high burst damage match ups. We would like to see more items like this, giving mages a better chance at survivability in a game where damage is incredibly high.
