League of Legends Preseason 2023 officially starts on Nov. 16.
While newer players might be unaware, long time fans of Riot Games' flagship MOBA, League of Legends, goes through a new season that lasts roughly the entire year. Each new season brings a change of gameplay, from updating items and tweaking champions to changing how entire roles are played.
With the end of Season 12 quickly approaching and Season 13 not starting until early January, some are left to wonder what will happen in the middle of these two events. This is where the preseason lies, giving a chance for Riot Games to show off their ideas for what the new season will be like.

League of Legends Preseason 2023 Release Date
League of Legends Preseason 2023 will be officially arriving on Nov. 16.
There are many changes coming in Preseason 2023 but one of the most notable comes to jungling. Jungling has been made easier as there is now a leash range showing how far a monster can be dragged out of its camp. There are now also pets that can be brought in to help jungle, giving various buffs depending on which pet was selected.
While not all of the changes that are coming have been made available to see, many are excited to see how League of Legends will change in the upcoming preseason.
