League of Legends Worlds Winners is a historic and prestigious list filled with some of the greatest esports athletes of all time.
The League of Legends World Championship is an international culmination of a year of competition where the best teams from each region battle it out to hoist the Summoner's Cup. Traditionally, three teams from the major regions and less from smaller qualify for the event either via winning domestic playoffs or a regional qualifier.
The event, traditionally dominated by Korean teams, features for the second year in a row a European team facing off against a Chinese team. Last year, Invictus Gaming became the first Chinese team to win Worlds by defeating Fnatic. All eyes are on G2 Esports as the team tries for glory against FunPlus Phoenix this year.
