LEAK: All Modern Warfare 3 Maps Available at Launch
Just two days ahead of the Shadow Siege Warzone reveal event, all Modern Warfare 3 maps available at launch leaked, and you might recognize all of them.
After weeks of rumors and leaks, Activision finally confirmed that Call of Duty 2023 is indeed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, developed by Sledgehammer Games. The developers have already begun teasing and promising the return of basic Call of Duty features the community loves, like a classic mini map with red dots and the Ninja Perk.
MW3 is also set to bring back slide cancelling, adding some elite movement to hopefully increase the skill gap, along with the rumored 150 HP. The returning features are great news for the community, and now, more leaks are revealing the playgrounds where those features will be able to reach their maximum potential.
LEAK: All Modern Warfare 3 Maps Available at Launch
All Modern Warfare 3 maps available at launch will be remastered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps, per el_bobberto. The following maps will allegedly be included in Modern Warfare 3 on release day:
- Afghan
- Derail
- Estate
- Favela
- Highrise
- Invasion
- Karachi
- Quarry
- Rundown
- Rust
- Scrapyard
- Skidrow
- Sub Base
- Terminal
- Underpass
- Wasteland
A previous leak reported only that Scrapyard and Terminal would be in MW3, but now it appears that the entire rotation of maps from MW2 (2009) is set to dominate the next Call of Duty game over 14 years later.
Are There Any New Maps in Modern Warfare 3?
As of now, it is unclear if there will be any new maps in Modern Warfare 3 at launch. If the leaks are indeed true, and all 16 MW2 (2009) maps are making their return in MW3, then it is unlikely there will be new maps to explore come Nov. 10, 2023.
Is There Map Voting in Modern Warfare 3?
Yes, there is map voting in Modern Warfare 3, acorrding to el_bobberto. It looks like fans will once again be able to vote on which map to play once a round comes to an end.
