Legend of the Vagabond Sword Genshin Impact: Everything You Need to Know
The Legend of the Vagabond Sword was an event that first went live in Genshin Impact Version 1.6 on June 25.
Although the original Legend of the Vagabond Sword challenge has since ended on July 8, the event also had a challenge video submission aspect, with the results remaining set to be announced by miHoYo next week. Here's everything you need to know about the Legend of the Vagabond Sword in Genshin Impact.
Legend of the Vagabond Sword Genshin Impact: Everything You Need to Know
The Legend of the Vagabond Sword event began in late June, inviting travelers Adventure Rank 20 or above in Genshin Impact to venture into the event's Domain and challenge three main bosses to attain points.
Either solo or with friends, players could implore the services of Kazuha, Klee, Bennett and more for an event bonus of 20% increased DMG against the likes of the Hateful Oceanid, the Revived Primo Geovishap and the Dual Maguu Kenki.
A new Legend of the Vagabond Sword challenge was unlocked per day until all seven of them were out:
- June 25: Showdown: Ancient Rock Drake I
- June 26: Lament: Bitter Hate I
- June 27: Battlesong: Ingenious Impermanence I
- June 28: Showdown: Ancient Rock Drake II
- June 29: Lament: Bitter Hate II
- June 30: Battlesong: Ingenious Impermanence II
- July 1: Wanderer's Threefold Challenge
During the event, travelers were able to attempt challenge each stage as many times as they desired in order to get their highest possible total score—the sum of their high scores from each stage.
Reaching a certain total score threshold granted players the opportunity to claim the event-exclusive Celebration: Battlesong name card and other rewards. After the event ended, all points were cleared and no further rewards could be claimed.
Meanwhile, miHoYo kicked off a challenge video submission contest for the Legend of the Vagabond Sword event.
Until July 4, travelers were invited to record a video showing them successfully completing the challenge.
Aside from logistical details and rules, the content requirements of video submissions simply wanted anything related to the Legend of the Vagabond Sword challenge, including but not limited to strategy and creative gameplay.
Of the travelers whose entries met the requirements, miHoYo will select 20 winners to receive a Challenge Bundle (300 Primogems and merchandise prizes worth $25 USD), as well as 30 winners to receive a Booster Bundle (100 Primogems and merchandise prizes worth $10 USD).
Assuming miHoYo are hard at work critiquing the hundreds of submissions, the Legend of the Vagabond Sword Challenge Video Submission Event results will be announced on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
