Lost Ark Paladin Build: PvP and PvE

In Lost Ark, the Paladin is perhaps one of the most important subclasses as it is one of the two dedicated supports in the game.

When compared to the other two brutes that make up the Warrior class, the Paladin is easily the outlier of the trio, focusing on aiding party members with buffs and heals rather than outputting DPS. Here's an overview of the skills and engravings for the best Paladin builds for PvP and PvE in Lost Ark.

Lost Ark Paladin Build: PvE

When it comes to PvE, Paladin players are expected to focus their builds on prioritizing support Skills in order to debuff enemies and heal and buff teammates:

• Flash Thrust (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Stigmata, Challenger’s Will, Executioner’s Strike): A stabbing sequence attack with a strong final blow.
• Charge (Skill Lv. 7; Runes: Excellent Mobility, Shining Protection): Your character charges forward six meters and then stabs foes, inflicting damage.
• Execution of Justice (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Rune Prison, Strength Release, Light Explosion): A strong spin attack with a final blow.
• Holy Sword (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Stigmata, Vital Point Hit, Condensed Energy): A strong thrust attack.
• Wrath of God (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Acuteness, Thunder, Express Fury): A strong attack that hits nearby foes and knocks them back.
• Holy Explosion (Skill Lv. 8; Runes: Swift Fingers, Light’s Vestige): A casting skill that explodes after two seconds at the target location.
• Heavenly Blessings (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Faith, Valor, Heavenly Requiem): Invokes an angel that damages nearby enemies and reduces the damage received by all party members in its reach for a small period.
• Alithanes’s Judgment (Awakening Skill): Causes massive damage to a target, nearby enemies, and gives party members that are in its reach a shield based on your Max HP.

Support Paladins usually only use Swiftness and Specialization Combat Stats.

Lost Ark Paladin Build: PvP

In a PvP setting, the Paladin is a tanky support class capable of dealing damage that synergizes well with offensive classes, but requires proper timing of Skills to avoid interruption due its lack of Push Immunity.

• Charge (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Excellent Mobility, Shining Protection, Ambush Attack): Your character charges forward six metres and then stabs foes, inflicting damage.
• Executor's Sword (Skill Lv. 4; Rune: Quick Pace): A sequence of attacks that launch enemies into the air and can counterattack the first time you use it, and by using it again, you perform a stronger attack.
• Execution of Justice (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Rune Prison, Strength Release, Light Explosion): A strong spin attack with a final blow.
• Holy Sword (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Propulsion, Vital Point Hit, Condensed Energy): A strong thrust attack.
• Wrath of God (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Wide Thunderstroke, Thunder, Light’s Guardian): Hits nearby foes and knocks them back.
• Holy Area (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Impaired Mobility, Grace, Light’s Concentration): An instant skill that damages enemies inside its area. While the “Godsent Law” skill is also a good option, Holy Area has the advantage of no casting.
• Holy Protection (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Quick Pace, Robust Protection, Thunderous Protection): When used, this skill casts a shield based on the percentage of Max HP for all party members within its range for six seconds.
• Heavenly Blessings (Skill Lv. 10; Runes: Agile Cast, Perseverance, Heavenly Requiem): Invokes an angel that damages nearby enemies and it also reduces the damage received of all party members in its reach for a small period.
• Alithanes’s Judgment (Awakening Skill): Causes massive damage to a target, nearby enemies and gives party members that are in its reach a shield based on your Max HP.

Lost Ark Paladin Build: Engravings

The Paladin class engravings are Blessed Aura and Judgement.

Virtually all Paladins will want to choose Blessed Aura, however, as it provides up to 20% damage resistance to all party members, as well as provides HP regen.
