Luigi's Mansion 3 S Rank: Is There An S Rank?

The Luigi's Mansion 3 S Rank is presumably the highest rank possible in the game, but the exact requirements are unknown. Players aren't even sure there's an S rank to earn, as even the highest scores appearing online are peaking at A rank. Here's what we know so far about the ranking in Luigi's Mansion 3.

Luigi's Mansion 3 S Rank: Is There An S Rank?

In previous Luigi's Mansion games, the ranks have ranged from Rank H all the way up through Rank A to Rank S. The original game required 130 million gold to earn the S Rank ending. Ending the game with between 100 million and 129 million gold earned an A Rank, and 70 million to 99 million a B Rank.

Luigi's Mansion 3 drops the totals significantly and appears to have made final ranks more lenient. Though ranges have yet to be confirmed, players have reported B Ranks earned with 60,000 gold and A Ranks starting at 70,000 gold. Scores as high as 90,000 gold have failed to receive an S Rank, suggesting to some players no S Rank exists at all.

Without confirmation from Nintendo or a player hitting S Rank, it will be hard to know the truth for sure. If you're looking to test for yourself, aim to crack at least 100,000 gold to further the study.
