The M16 is a popular Assault Rifle featured across multiple Call of Duty titles including Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Here is how to Build the Secret Weapon.

To create the M16, start with the M4A1 Assault Rifle. This secret weapon requires two attachments and the Burst Perk. Burst allows players to toggle burst fire, an important mechanic of the M16. The next attachment is the Barrel: Stock M16 Grenadier Barrel. This attachment increases Damage Range, Bullet Velocity and Recoil Control. It also limits Aim Down Sight Speed and Movement speed so if you are a faster player, this isn't the class for you. The final required attachment is the Stock: M16 Stock. This attachment increases Aiming Stability but decreases Aim Walking Movement Speed.

The remaining two attachment slots are left up to player choice. A GI Mini Reflex or Operator Reflex Sight Optic would work great with this gun type. An Underbarrel or Rear Grip is another good option to improve gun stability. Commando Foregrip keeps the weapon steady when aiming and the Stippled Grip Tape maintains weapon control when performing high speed maneuvers.
