Marvel Rivals Won't Be Coming to Consoles Anytime Soon
Fans are excited about Marvel Rivals! People can't stop talking about the upcoming PvP team shooter since its announcement on March 27. The character roster, battle modes, and incredible superpowers are enough to hype up any Marvel fan. However, players might be disappointed that the game won't arrive on consoles upon release.
Marvel Rivals Won't Be Coming to Consoles Anytime Soon
The Marvel Rivals trailer shows that the game will be coming to PC when it's released. Players can download it from the Epic Games Store and Steam.
Although there's no confirmed release date for Marvel Rivals, a Closed Alpha Test will occur in May 2024. Players can get a sneak peek of the title and participate in its development process by providing feedback. NetEase clearly stated that the Closed Alpha Test will also be exclusive to PC as well.
That doesn't mean the hero shooter will never come to consoles. The developers stated they're "actively exploring potential releases on other platforms." They might wait for Marvel Rivals' reception on PC before expanding to other platforms.
