MLB The Show 21 Diamond Dynasty April Monthly Awards were released on May 5 for the best performing players from the first month of the new season.

Diamond Dynasty is off to a popular start even amid server issues on San Diego Studios' end. This is the first year MLB The Show has been released on Xbox systems and fans wonder if that's causing the constant server issues. SDS has remained committed to improving performance and stability, so fans should rest easy knowing the developer is working on it.

The April Monthly Awards program features nine players including seven Diamonds players can earn. The program is highlighted by an 89 overall Shohei Ohtani, a 92 overall Vladimir Guerrero Jr., a 93 Corbin Burnes and the big prize of a 95 overall Byron Buxton.

Here are the Monthly Reward requirements for each special player:

• 5 Points - 84 Cedric Mullens
• 20 Points - 84 Danny Duffy
• 30 Points - 87 Nick Solak
• 40 Points - 88 Matt Barnes
• 50 Points - 89 Shohei Ohtani
• 60 Points - 90 Justin Turner
• 70 Points - 92 Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
• 80 Points - 93 Corbin Burnes
• 100 Points - 95 Byron Buxton

There are packs, stubs and other rewards scattered throughout the program as well. Players can earn points through three task sections: Missions, Moments and Collections.

Here's how to complete the Missions section, all of which can be done in Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs CPU, Extra Innings and Conquest:

• Tally 15 hits with Topps Now Series players - 10 points
• Tally 7 extra base hits with Topps Now Series players - 10 points
• Tally 15 strikeouts with Topps Now Series players - 10 points
• Tally 5 hits with April Monthly Awards Cedric Mullins - 4 points
• Strike out 9 batters with April Monthly Awards Danny Duffy - 4 points
• Tally 3 extra base hits with April Monthly Awards Nick Solak - 4 points
• Strike out 5 batters with April Monthly Awards Matt Barnes - 4 points
• Hit 2 home runs with April Monthly Awards Shohei Ohtani - 4 points
• Tally 3 extra base hits with April Monthly Awards Justin Turner - 4 points
• Hit 2 home runs with April Monthly Awards Vladimir Guerrero Jr. - 4 points
• Strike out 9 batters with April Monthly Awards Corbin Burnes - 4 points

Here's how to complete the Moments section for a total of 36 points:

• Tally 3 hits and 1 XBH with Cedric Mullens - 4 points
• Tally 2 XBH with Nick Solak - 4 points
• Strike out 8 batters without giving up a run with Danny Duffy - 4 points
• Strike out 3 batters, don't give up a hit, walk or hit a batter with Matt Barnes - 4 points
• Tally 6 hits and 3 XBH with Shohei Ohtani across 3 games - 4 points
• Tally 6 total basses with Justin Turner - 4 points
• Tally 8 total basses with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. - 4 points
• Strike out 10 batters, don't give up a run or walk a batter with Corbin Burns - 4 points
• Tally 2 XBH with Byron Buxton - 4 points

Players can also collect all of the 25 Topps Now players from April for an additional 15 points.
