1. Toggle Mute Manually

This can be achieved on console by highlighting players in the lobby and clicking X on PS4 or A on Xbox.
On PC, all you need to do is click on their name and select the toggle mute option.

2. Change Audio Settings

Check the voice communication settings just in case mute everyone is selected. To do this go to the main menu and then select options. Select the audio tab and find voice chat settings. Here you need to make sure voice chat is enabled and then change your mute strategy to Unmute all.

3. Enable Cross-Platform Chat

Check to see if cross-platform chat is enabled by going to options and then the account tab. From here make sure cross-play communication is enabled even if cross-play is disabled.
