NBA 2K23 Dreamer Edition: Where to Buy

While many editions of NBA 2K23 were initially released on Sept. 8, players are wondering when and where to buy the Dreamer Edition. This edition, which features rapper J.Cole on its cover, is highly anticipated by fans of the game and his music alike.

NBA 2K23, which already has special versions like its WNBA and Michael Jordan editions, announced its Dreamer Edition shortly before its main release. J.Cole, who already appears in the base game's MyCAREER storyline, will make additional appearances in-game as well as on its soundtrack. Its namesake is a probable allusion to Dreamville Records, J.Cole's record label, which also headlines the game's soundtrack artists.

Where to Buy NBA 2K23 Dreamer Edition

In a statement made by the NBA, the Dreamer Edition will be exclusively on sale at GameStop in the US and Canada. This means that it likely will not be available for all devices or countries. Similar to other special editions of the game, the Dreamer Edition will also only be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X.

Additionally, NBA 2K23 Dreamer Edition's release date has not been announced. A report about the edition by 2K states that it is "dropping this fall". J.Cole also is quoted as saying more Dreamville and Dreamer-related content will come as new seasons of the game are released.

UPDATE 11/15/22: NBA 2K23 Dreamer Edition officially released exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on Nov. 11, 2022. The special version of the game can only be purchased at GameStop.
