New Game+ Coming to Spider-Man 2

Insomniac Games announced Spider-Man 2 back in Sept. 2021. After a long wait, it was finally released on Oct. 20, 2023. The highly-anticipated sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man broke records. It sold over 2.5 million copies in 24 hours and over five million in 11 days, making it one of the fastest-selling PlayStation 5 games.

It has been a few months since Spider-Man 2's release, and many have already completed it. The new update lets players swing back into action with Miles and Peter!

New Game+ Coming to Spider-Man 2

Insomniac Games confirmed an upcoming patch filled with exciting changes. The modification that most people have been waiting for is the New Game+ mode for Spider-Man 2.

Many have been anticipating the mode since the developers originally planned to release an update before the end of 2023. Insomniac Games had to push the date back to early 2024 because the features required more testing.

The company officially announced the Spider-Man 2 patch on Feb. 7. It'll arrive on Mar. 7 and include "New Game+, new suits, and more," though we aren't sure which suits will appear in the patch. Insomniac Games promised to share a complete list of features closer to the update's release.

Insomniac Games hasn't released much else about the update. Players can follow the company's Twitter/X account or Discord for more updates.
