The Bow and Rapier are strong when paired together, allowing for strong damage from a safe distance, as well as access to many evasion skills that keep you slippery.

Bow Talents

Pick up the abilities Penetrating Shot, Poison Shot, and Evade Shot. Penetrating Shot adds some much-needed burst to a weapon that does well in the constant damage department. Poison Shot adds some nice disengagement, creating a zone you can safely kite around, especially when you throw Evade Shot in the mix.

Rapier Talents

Pick up the abilities Evade, Fleche, and Riposte. These Rapier abilities complement the aforementioned Bow abilities nicely. Most of your damage will be coming from the Bow, so think of the Rapier as a set of support talents to bolster the power of your Bow. Evade is a powerful skill allowing the player to keep their movements more unpredictable, and crucially allow 'Light Attacks' to be performed exceptionally fast while casting Evade. Fleche can be used to engage with some extra damage, or another form of movement to keep your enemies guessing. Riposte adds some much needed defense if you do end up getting caught, entering a defensive stance for 1 second. If you are struck by an ability, you stun your attacker for 1.5 seconds, perhaps a nice window to get a crucial Penetrating Shot off to turn the tide.
