Nine Pillars of Peace Genshin Impact: Everything You Need to Know
By Jacquelyn Li
Nine Pillars of Peace is a World Quest in Genshin Impact that is challenging to complete but also highly rewarding if you manage to finish it. Read on to learn how to clear this quest and claim the 5-star Royal Flora that awaits you at the end.
To begin the quest, head to Cuijue Slope in Liyue. You'll soon come across a valley full of glowing orange pillars, buried at various depths in the ground. Investigate the stone tablet in the middle of the valley to start the quest. It'll inform you that you have to break the nine stone pillars and bring peace to Liyue.
Nine Pillars of Peace Genshin Impact: Everything You Need to Know
To break the pillars, you'll need nine Stones of Remembrance. Gathering them is likely to take a while, because Stones of Remembrance can only be obtained by offering Geoculi to the Statues of the Seven in Liyue. To obtain all Stones of Remembrance, you'll need to level up your Statue to level 10, the maximum level, which requires obtaining 130 of the 131 Geoculi in Liyue.
Geoculi can be found scattered in various parts of Liyue, often in hard-to-reach locations such as rooftops or mountaintops. If you're having trouble finding Geoculi, consider crafting a Geoculus Resonance Stone. The recipe for this gadget can be unlocked by reaching Liyue Reputation Level 2, and when used, it displays on your map an area in which you can find a Geoculus.
Each time you obtain a Stone of Remembrance, you can climb up one of the nine pillars in Cuijue Slope and insert it into the pillar. The pillar will break open, and you'll receive an Exquisite Chest. Sometimes, enemies will spawn at the bottom of the pillar after it breaks open, so be prepared.
After you break open all nine pillars, you'll see the door to the ruins has opened. Enter the ruins and prepare for a difficult battle.
Three waves of enemies will spawn during the fight. The first is a Ruin Guard, the second is two Geovishap Hatchlings, and the third is a Ruin Hunter. Pyro Infusion Stones will spawn periodically during the fight, buffing the enemies, so be sure to break them when you have the chance. A Geovishap Hatchling and a trap will also spawn with the infusion stone in the third wave.
If you're struggling, keep in mind that you can bring friends with you into the fight. Have them join your world, and you can face the enemies together. Another strategy is to lure the Ruin Hunter away from the infusion stones, which you can see in the video below.
Once you've defeated all enemies, head further into the ruins to claim your rewards. You'll find one Luxurious Chest, one Precious Chest, and one Royal Flora, a 5-star artifact. One of the chests will contain a Dull Ring.
There is one last step to the quest, which is rather easy: you'll have to fetch a good price for the Dull Ring at one of Liyue's merchants. There are two merchants you can sell the ring to: Linlang and Bolai. Linlang will offer you 200,000 Mora for the ring, while Bolai will offer you 180,000 Mora with some add-ons. The add-ons in question are 5 Adeptus' Temptation, a 5-star food item that greatly increases your party's Attack and Crit Rate. Since this food item is relatively difficult to make, it may be a good idea to sell the ring to Bolai, but you can make your choice based on which deal you prefer.
After that, you've completed the Nine Pillars of Peace quest. You'll receive 450 Adventure EXP and 50 Primogems as a final reward.
