Here's how to get the Shiny Charm in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
How to Get the Shiny Charm in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
First, you have to complete the Pokedex entries. This means that you have to catch all 242 Pokemon in the Hisui region and raise their individual research levels to 10. By completing enough research tasks for each Pokemon, you will get them to level 10. Some of these tasks include battling with and against specific Pokemon, catching them, and evolving them. You can see which tasks you need to complete by looking through your Pokedex. While this may seem time consuming, it is crucial in order to obtain the Shiny Charm.
Next, you have to speak with Professor Laventon. He will be in Galaxy Hall, which is located in Jubilife Village. The Shiny Charm will be in your grasp after a quick scene.
Now, how do you use the Shiny Charm? You are all set once you obtain it, as it automatically equips in your item bag. You can begin to hunt for Shiny Pokemon with greater odds. Normally, the odds of catching a Shiny Pokemon are 1 in 4096. By reaching research level 10 with that Pokemon and having a Shiny Charm equipped, your chances become much higher at 1 in 819.6. Additionally, if there is a mass outbreak on top of having a Shiny Charm and research level 10 for that Pokemon, your rate increases to 1 in 137.02.
