Perfect Painting Animal Crossing: New Horizons: What to Look For
By Jack O'Dwyer
Perfect Painting Animal Crossing: New Horizons asks players to compare Crazy Redd's wares to their originals in order to sniff out the fakes. Sometimes, it can feel like comparing apples to oranges.
Crazy Redd returns in the newest update for New Horizons along with the fine art wing for your museum. Players now have a whole fourth part to fill with paintings and sculptures based on some of the most prolific works in the art world. There's just one problem: you have to figure out which are authentic enough to display.
Here's a bit about the Perfect Painting.

The Perfect Painting is a replica of "Apples and Oranges" by Paul Cézanne and is always authentic. You would do well to snag this painting whenever it appears on Redd's boat.
"Apples and Oranges"—also known as "Pommes et oranges"—is a still life painted in 1899. It is part of a six canvas series produced from Cézanne's Parisian studio all with a similar theme. In each piece, a floral-printed jug and earthenware dishes can be found along with a draped cloth.
It is just one work included in the under Post-Impressionism period which features deep, saturated colors and contrast in comparison to the Impressionist emphasis on natural replication. Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Night" is also in this category.
Currently, this piece is being held in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, France.
