Pokemon GO fans are wondering if Niantic Labs will be hosting any Black Friday deals in-game.

The holiday season is upon us—which means players and fans alike are looking to make the best out of their favorite franchises' Black Friday deals. As a semi-sacred shopping holiday, Black Friday is both famous for the discount it provides and infamous for consumer reactions to them. Fortunately, as Pokemon GO takes place primarily inside a mobile device application, trainers won't need to worry about being stampeded on their way to the in-game shop.

There are no Pokemon GO Black Friday deals available at the time of writing.

While Pokemon, as a franchise, may offer some deals on merchandise including individual titles, it's not likely that Niantic Labs will follow suit inside Pokemon GO. Unfortunately, the company doesn't have a track record for doing so at the time of writing.

However, that doesn't mean it's completely out of the question. 2021 could be the year Niantic turns it all around and decide to publish some deals just in time for the holiday.

If they do, trainers should expect it to affect PokeCoins and/or in-game reward boxes. Whether they decide to slash the price of coin bundles or boxes remains to be seen, but either one is possible. They could also apply a discount to trainer avatar items, as well.
