Pokémon GO Electric Cup: Details, Best Pokemon to Use

Pokémon GO's Mythical Wishes event, starting on Dec. 1 of last year, has included Battle Cups of various Pokémon types that players can enter to win for incredible rewards.

From Jan. 26 until Feb. 2, 2023, players can enter their Electric-type Pokémon in the Electric Cup to win different items that can be used while playing their game. There are a couple of Pokémon that will be better suited than others to use in the fight to win the Electric Cup, and we've compiled a list below.

Pokémon GO Electric Cup: Best Pokemon to Use

The only Pokémon off-limit from the Cup are the Vikavolt line, Heliolisk and Stunfisk. The only other requirement for a Pokémon to be entered in the Electric Cup is that they be 1,500 CP or below.

That being said, here are a few Pokémon that players should consider using in order to win the Electric Cup:

1. Lanturn, a Water- and Electric-type Pokémon that has an excellent charged attack in Surf
2. Magnezone, a Steel- and Electric-type Pokémon with good offensive moves like Mirror Shot
3. Galvantula, a Bug- and Electric-type Pokémon that has Energy Ball, a Grass-type move
4. Alolan Golem, a Rock- and Electric-type Pokémon with access to the move Stone Edge
5. Luxray, a pure Electric-type with access to Hidden Power (Ground), a supper-effective move

These Pokémon have a lot of potential to decimate within the Electric Cup for numerous reasons, and although there are many not included in this list, it is important for players to take into account many different Electric-types have their own strengths.

Access to the Electric Cup began on Jan. 26 and will end Feb. 2 in Pokémon GO.
