Pokemon GO Jirachi Research Tasks: Everything You Need to Know

Pokemon GO Jirachi Research Tasks will reward you with a Jirachi encounter. This will be the first time all players will be able to encounter the Wish Pokemon. Here's a list of the quest objectives and rewards for the Thousand Year Slumber event.
Pokemon GO Jirachi Research Tasks
Tier 1/7
- Catch 25 Pokemon - 1000 XP
- Spin 10 Pokestops or Gyms - Jigglypuff encounter
- Make 3 New Friends - Feebas encounter
- Completion Rewards - Moss Lure, Glacial Lure, Magnetic Lure
Tier 2/7
- Catch 3 Whismur - 10 Whismur Candy
- Evolve Feebas - 1500 XP
- Earn a Gold Hoenn Medal - 1500 XP
- Completion Rewards - 2000 Stardust, 10 Pokeball, 3 Incense
Tier 3/7
- Take a snapshot of Loudred - Snorlax encounter
- Make 3 Great Throws in a row - 2000 XP
- Earn 3 Candies Walking with your Buddy - 2000 XP
- Completion Rewards - 20 Silver Pinap berry, 3 Star Piece, 2000 Stardust
Tier 4/7
- Catch 50 Psychic or Steel type Pokemon - 2500 XP
- Power up Pokemon 10 times - 2500 XP
- Send 10 Gifts to Friends - 2500
- Completion Rewards - Fast TM, Charge TM, Premium Raid Pass
Tier 5/7
- Battle a Team Leader 3 Times - Kricketot encounter
- Win Against Another Trainer 7 Times - 3000 XP
- Win 5 Raids - 3000 XP
- Completion Rewards - 3 Rare Candy, 20 Ultra Ball, 3000 Stardust
Tier 6/7
- Take 5 photos of Steel or Psychic type Pokemon - Chimecho encounter
- Make 3 Excellent Curveball Throws - Bronzong encounter
- Spin a Pokestop 7 days in a row - 4000 XP
- Completion rewards - 10 Silver Pinap berry, 10 Star Piece, 5000 Stardust
The Tier 7 quest information is unknown at this time, as you must spin Pokestops for seven days in row. As such, the completion rewards for the entire quest are also unknown except for the Jirachi encounter.
When you complete the event, you'll also get a special Jirachi T-shirt for your character.
Those are the objectives for the Thousand Year Slumber event. In addition to this Special Research event, there are a ton of new rewards coming soon for all players, like the Ultra Bonus for new Pokemon and Legendary encounters.
