Pokemon GO November update was announced on Friday, giving fans a glimpse of upcoming content. Fans can look forward to new 5-Star and Mega Raids, Spotlight Hours, and a Community Day.

• Festival of Lights: From ​​November 5, 2021, to November 14, 2021, it’s time to celebrate light overcoming darkness with an all-new event!

• Día de Muertos: From November 1, 2021, to November 2, 2021, we will be celebrating the Día de Muertos with a special event for Trainers around the world.

• Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Celebration Event: Celebrate the launch of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl with a special event from November 16, 2021, to November 21, 2021.

• ???: The Season of Mischief will close out with an epic event! From November 26, 2021, to November 29, 2021, Trainers who completed the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research story will be able to unlock a Special Research story where Trainers will have an opportunity to learn more about Hoopa. November Community Day Bonuses

November's community day is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 21 and will run from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. The featured Pokémon of this month's community day is Shinx.

• 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period
• Incense activated during the event will last for three hours
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
• Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!

November Mega and 5-Star Raids

Here are the Pokémon that will be appearing in 5-Star Raids throughout November:

• Until Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai will be in the rotation, with the chance to be Shiny, as well as already knowing the attack Sludge Bomb.
• From Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 to Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, the Legendary Gen V Swords of Justice — Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion — will make their returns, already knowing the attack Sacred Sword and the chance to be Shiny.
• From Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 to Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, the Mythical Pokémon Cresselia will make its appearance with the chance to be Shiny.
