Pokemon GO Power Plant Event: Everything You Need to Know

Pokémon GO's latest entry into the Season of Heritage, the Power Plant event, is set to kick-off tomorrow. Here's everything you need to know to prepare yourself.
Season of Heritage is a collection of events that have so far been leading us up to the release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Professor Willow has discovered a strange door in a historical cave site, locked by mysterious mechanisms. Since Dec. 1, players have been taking part in special events full of unique rewards and encounters, helping to unlock the mystery.
Now, as part of the Power Plant event, players will be helping to unlock the last part of the door using electric-type Pokémon to power the mechanism. Inspired by the power plants found in the Kanto and Kalos regions, you’ll be able to catch Pokémon like Magnemite, Voltorb, and, making its Pokémon GO debut, Helioptile.
Here's what you can look forward to in the latest event.
