Pokémon GO’s Winter Holiday Event Part 2 Detailed

Pokémon GO is set to ring in the holidays and end the year with the Mythical Wishes Winter Holiday Part 2. Starting at 10 a.m. local time on Dec. 23 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 31, trainers can enjoy all the winter-themed content in Pokémon GO before 2022 ends. Here is a breakdown of what is coming to Pokémon GO during the Winter Holiday Event Part 2.
Pokémon GO Winter Wonderland 2022
From 10 a.m. local time on Dec. 24 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 25 there will be a Winter Wonderland in Pokémon GO. During the Christmas holiday, there will be a lucky exchange where the odds of receiving a lucky Pokémon increase from 10 to 15. From now on, trading any Pokémon that was in a trainers storage from 2017 is guaranteed to become a Lucky Pokémon.
Completing the Collection Challenge by the end of Winter Wonderland will earn players an encounter with a Galarian Mr. Mime and receive XP and Incense. Other bonuses during the Winter Wonderland include one extra special trade per day and Daily Adventure Incense activated during the event will last for 30 minutes.
Pokémon GO Winter Wonderland 2022 Debuts
The Winter Holiday Event Part 2 will feature Eevee and all its evolutions wearing holiday hats. Those that caught a Cubchoo with a holiday ribbon will also be able to evolve it into a Beartic wearing a holiday ribbon.

Wild Encounters
During the event, these Pokémon will appear frequently in the wild.:

- Delibird wearing a holiday-themed ribbon

- Spheal
- Snover
- Vanillite
- Cubchoo wearing a holiday-themed ribbon

Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon are also spanning all over the globe. Players can encounter Scatterbug after collecting and pinning postcards they earn from different regions. Completing it will reward players with the Vivillon Collector medal.

These Pokémon will appear in Raids during the event:
One-Star Raids

Five-Star Raids
Kyurem caught during raids in the Winter Holiday Part 2 Event will know the feature attack Glaciate. Glaciate has a Power Level of 60 and will decrease your opponent’s Attack stat when used during Trainer Battles. During Gyms and raids it will have 160 Power.

Hisuian Avalugg Raid Day
On Dec. 24 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time, Hisuian Avalugg will have a special raid. Hisuian Avalugg will be appearing in Three-Star Raids and players will have an increased chance of catching a Shiny Hisuian Avalugg. Other bonuses include a bonus five additional daily Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
Paid Timed Research
For $5.00 players can participate in the timed research event. Fully completing it will earn players an avatar pose and these items:
- Two Incubators
- One Incense
- Abomasnow Mega Energy
- Winter-themed Pokémon encounters
Trainers have until Dec. 30 to purchase the tickets and have until Dec. 31 to claim the rewards.
Timed Research: Will Your Wish Come True?
There will be a Timed Research task that will be featuring different branching pathways. Different bonuses will be rewarded for hatching Eggs, catching Pokémon, or collecting Stardust. Regardless of what path the trainer takes, completing the tasks will earn items and encounter Galarian Mr. Mime and other winter-themed Pokémon.

Players can earn special holiday items and stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop:

- Holiday Hat
- Holiday Beard
- Holiday Suit
