Pokémon UNITE Greninja Build
This Pokémon UNITE Greninja build guide is here to break down its basic stats, as well as the best moves and items for the ranged Attacker.
Greninja is a Pokémon that focuses on ranged damage and mobility by using smokescreens and illusory copies of itself to hide and keep it at a distance from enemies. As an expert difficulty Pokémon, the skill floor for Greninja is high, but well worth it for those who not only have the patience of daily logging 14 days to unlock it, but also take the time to main it.
Pokémon UNITE Greninja Build
First off, Greninja is the third and final evolution of Froakie at Lvl. 7, and has a 4-star Offense, 2-star Defense, 3-star Mobility, 3-star Scoring and merely a half star in Support.
Since Greninja is very mobile for a non-speedster, it is can be flexed to play the Jungle, aside from its main Top and Bottom lane roles as a natural Attacker.
Greninja is best paired with a Support rather than a Tank since it is a squishy Pokémon that can be easily taken down when caught out in the wrong position.
The main reason Greninja is a bit tougher to play—aside from the fact that players must have the creativity and boldness to maximize its mobility outplay capabilities—is that its Torrent passive ability makes it so that its best played at below half HP, when its attack and speed increase.
In this damage build, Greninja players should familiarize themselves with Bubble at Lv. 1, Substitute at Lv. 3, Smokescreen at Lv. 5 and Water Shuriken at Lv. 7.
While Smokescreen can be used to confuse opponents about Greninja's current position, Water Shuriken—albeit a skill shot that requires accuracy to land—can be used to attack opponents safely.
Prioritize X Attack for the Battle Iteam to increase Greninja's damage even further.
With the Held Items, pickup Muscle Band, Scope Lens and the Attack Weight as they all increase its damage output capabilities, which is exactly what players want to do with Greninja in Pokémon UNITE.
