Pork or Gerhild in AC Valhalla: Who is Rollo's Traitor?
Spoilers Alert
We are going to provide you with everything you need to know in order to get to the bottom of this and determine who betrayed Rollo.
The first thing you will want to do is confront both Pork and Gerhild. Both suspects will claim they were out hunting rabbits for Rollo's turn, and Lork says he saw Gerhild speaking with a Saxon. To inspect their claims, you need to head over to the game rack and you will see that it is full. Meaning that there was no reason for either Pork or Gerhild to be out hunting.
The next piece of evidence is to check the hiding spot to the left of Gerhild. Use the Odin's Sight ability to discover it. After that, go back and talk with both of them again. Pork will reveal that he was not hunting. Instead, he was sleeping in the woods and then hid when the attack began. Gerhild says she was meeting a liver, the Saxon that Lork spotted. Now you have to make a decision.
We already know that Gerhild hates Rollo for seeing Estrid; her having a Saxon lover does not seem likely. Her lie about hunting coupled without a true alibi leaves her the No. 1 suspect. Lork has a blood oath to Rollo, which Danes honor quite seriously. Lork is also getting old and frail, which corroborates her story of sleeping in the woods.
Now it is time to accuse Gerhild, and she will be killed.
If you choose the wrong suspect, Gerhild will harm Estrid later on in the story. The traitor will still be alive, so you will have a more difficult time getting Estrid out of England.
