Red Dead 2's Alaskan Ginseng is one of the more elusive plants found in Red Dead Redemption 2 in both the single player campaign and online multiplayer. How can a player find the Alaskan Ginseng, and what can it be used for?

When hunting for the Alaskan Ginseng, your best bet would be to head over to either Ambarino or North West Elizabeth, as their moist forest areas provide the best conditions for the plant. Once in one of those areas, look for a plant with berries growing in clusters towards the top of its stem. This is an Alaskan Ginseng.
After picking the Alaskan Ginseng, you have several options as to what to do with it. Of course, if mixing potions and medicine isn't really your thing, sell it at the nearest general store for 25 cents per plant. If you choose to make something out of it, you can use the Alaskan Ginseng as an ingredient in Potion Health Cure, Special Health Cure, Potent Miracle Tonic, Potent Horse Medicine, Special Horse Medicine, and Special Horse Reviver. All in all, the Alaskan Ginseng is a pretty versatile plant for any player with an inclination for potion making.
