Regidrago Pokemon GO: Best Pokemon to Use

Regidrago, the Dragon Orb golem legendary, is launching into Pokémon GO this Saturday in Elite Raids as a part of the Rising Heroes event.

The beginning of the Rising Heroes event in Pokémon GO came with its announcement last week. In the announcement trailers, players could see that the event would place emphasis on Gimmighoul and the Golden PokéStops, new Research Tasks and the arrival of Regidrago and Regileki into Pokémon GO.

Below are some Pokémon we recommend you use in the fight to get yourself a Regidrago while it is still available on this Saturday, Mar. 11.

Regidrago Pokemon GO: Best Pokemon to Use

Being that Regidrago is an incredibly powerful Pokémon and that Elite Raids are difficult fights, bringing in Pokémon that will be able to handle the Pokémon with ease is of the essence.

Galarian Darmanitan (Zen Form)

Galarian Darmanitan, in its Zen forme, is a Ice- and Fire-type Pokémon. This snowball-reminiscent Pokémon can pack a punch against the Dragon-type legendary by using moves like Ice Fang and Avalanche to capitalize on Regidrago's Ice-type weakness.

Salamence

This Dragon- and Flying-type is incredibly strong in its own right, but as most Pokémon fans know, Dragon-types are weak to their own typing. This is why Salamence would be a good option to bring into the Raid battle with Regidrago; using moves like Dragon Tail and Draco Meteor are sure to devastate during the battle.

Kyurem (Black)

This Dragon- and Ice-type Pokémon combines both what was said about Galarian Darmitan (Zen form) and Salamence. This legendary is already difficult to attain, but if used in a bttle like this, victory should come much easier to the player. Dragon Tail, Outrage and/or Blizzard are just some moves that would be incredibly useful in the battle with Regidrago.

The Regidrago fight will be available in Pokémon GO by challenging it in Elite Raids, available only at EX gyms, either at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. or 5 p.m. local time on Saturday, Mar. 11.
