These paint jobs are much like the clothing in the game: they serve both to give the players a creative outlet and to let players stunt with their fanciest and rarest gear. Still, sometimes players just want to rock the standard weapon look. Here's how to remove weapon skins in the middle of a match.
Remove Weapon Skin PUBG: Can You Remove Skins During Matches?
Changing weapon skins in-game in PUBG is simple, but a little cumbersome. To do it, head into your inventory, then hold Alt + Shift and left click on the weapon whose skin you want to remove. The game even provides a prompt with the necessary commands in the bottom right of the inventory screen when hovering over a weapon.
To reapply the skin, hold Alt and left click the weapon in question. The only skin that can be applied mid-game is the one that the weapon previously bore.
