Resident Evil 3 train code has players scratching their heads. With Capcom's remake of Resident Evil 3, its no wonder some are searching for the answer to this puzzle.

The problem in question can be encountered in Raccoon City as players are attempting to board the train and escape. It can be difficult to make your way through the streets, avoiding enemies, and watching out for the ever-lurking Nemesis all at once. This little puzzle provides a quick critical thinking break before the player needs to dive into more strategic combat.

Here's how to get the train code in the Resident Evil 3 remake.

Resident Evil 3 Train Code

The code, itself, is:

  • RE-01
  • FA-02
  • RA-03
  • SA-02
  • FO-01

Your problem is that the train has stopped operating at Redstone Park. You need to get safely to Fox Park. So, how do you get there?

You'll find the railway route map taped to the terminal with several passages crossed out in red ink. This is the biggest key you'll need to figure out exactly how to get the above code in its entirety. Those crossed out passages are unavailable to the player at the moment. There will be mechanical columns you can manipulate on the left hand side to input the code as you figure it out.

Here's where the left and right come together. The code is essentially a mixture of station abbreviations and numbers scrawled on the paper map.

Each station is shortened to just two letters. Your current location, Redstone Park, and your desired location, Fox Park, are already set as RE-01 and FO-01 first and last, respectively.

FA-02 stands for Faust Avenue, the next station you'll need. It should have an "02" written next to it.

RA stands for Raccoon Central Station. We can assume this is 03 due to its proximity to the other lines despite the map being torn around it.

SA stands for Saint Michael's Clock Tower, the final station you need before Fox Park. It should also have an 02 scribbled next to it.
