Respawn Entertainment Bans Thousands of Apex Legends Players
Respawn Entertainment issued another huge wave of bans today as thousands of Apex Legends players got kicked off the game.
Apex Legends Season 18 is off to a successful start. Not only did Respawn Entertainment correct many of the Ranked mistakes from last season, but they also introduced Revenant Reborn, a rework of Revenant. The Legend, equipped with a new heirloom and abilities, brought some excitement back to the Battle Royale.
Following Revenant Reborn's successful launch, Apex Legends: Resurrection will host the Harbingers Collection Event to celebrate Fuse's Heirloom, The Razor's Edge. Fortunately, thousands of cheaters will not be able to participate in the promising event.
Respawn Entertainment Bans Thousands of Apex Legends Players
With their latest strike of the ban hammer, Respawn Entertainment banned over 2,000 Apex Legends players. The terminated players were cheating, and therefore will not be allowed back on the game.
The official Respawn Entertainment X/Twitter account posted, "As a reminder, please report any suspicious player activity through our in-game tools."
Although ban waves are not as common as the community would like, the developers did a good job weeding out so many cheaters before the Harbingers Collection Event starts on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023.
How to Get Banned On Apex Legends
To get banned on Apex Legends, players must commit one of the following violations:
- Cheat
- Make false claims
- Participate in hateful conduct
- Intentionally party up with cheaters
- Abuse glitches or bugs
Although cheating is the most likely to get you banned on Apex Legends, partying up with cheaters or abusing glitches and bugs are also seen as another form of cheating, even if you yourself are not hacking. Making false claims against other plays will also not be tolerated.
Plus, it goes without saying, but any harassment or hateful conduct have no place in gaming, and will put your account in jeopardy.
