The Riot Vanguard anti-cheat download is one of the short hurdles Valorant hopefuls have to vault if they want to play the game. This step of the process comes only after players have received a closed beta code that allows them entrance to the servers. Here's how to complete it.

The main stopping most would-be players from jumping into Valorant is the need for one of a limited number of closed beta keys. These keys can be earned by tuning into select Twitch streams, and are distributed randomly. To be eligible for a drop, link your Riot account and your Twitch account, then watch any of the streamers with drops enabled until you get a key.

Once you receive a key, download the Valorant closed beta game client and install the game itself. When the download finishes, you'll be prompted to restart your PC. This restart will install the Riot Vanguard anti-cheat software, allowing you to play Valorant as soon as you've rebooted.
