Ropz CS:GO Settings: What Are Ropz CS:GO Settings?
By Ryan Borja
Ropz CS:GO settings are highly sought after ever since Mousesports stunned Counter-Strike: Global Offensive fans from across the world on Sunday by taking down Astralis and Fnatic on their way to lifting the trophy at the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals and getting their first win towards the Intel Grand Slam.
Their victory has thrust the team as a top team in this era of Counter-Strike, all thanks to an MVP performance from Robin "ropz" Kool, who finished with a stellar HLTV rating of 1.24 and a +/- of 105 kills. Those that want to emulate the Estonian superstar's play may want to take down a few notes on ropz's settings for CS:GO.
Ropz CSGO Settings
Ropz plays with an in-game sensitivity of 1.77 and a DPI of 400, which can be converted into an eDPI of 708, and uses a zoom ratio of 1. His Windows sensitivity is 6 and has raw input enabled. The star rifler uses modern settings for his video settings, using a 16:9 ratio with a 1920x1080 resolution and a 240hz monitor.
Ropz CSGO Crosshair
The crosshair ropz plays with is a small and thin green classic crosshair with no outline. The commands to emulate his crosshair are as follows.
- cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairsize 2; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0;
If you want to these commands to copy his crosshair, simply input them into the command console or into an autoexec file.
Ropz CSGO Viewmodel
The following are the commands ropz uses for his first-person viewmodel for CS:GO. It's fairly standard, as he plays with a right-handed viewmodel with a maximized FOV, slightly adjusted bob settings, and gun help fairly close to the camera.
- viewmodel_fov 68; viewmodel_offset_x 2.5; viewmodel_offset_y 0; viewmodel_offset_z -1.5; viewmodel_presetpos 3; cl_viewmodel_shift_left_amt 0.5; cl_viewmodel_shift_right_amt 0.25; viewmodel_recoil 0; cl_righthand 1;
cl_bob_lower_amt 21; cl_bobamt_lat 0.4; cl_bobamt_vert 0.25; cl_bobcycle 0.98;
Ropz CSGO Config
The following are various commands ropz includes in his autoexec config file. Notable features of ropz's autoexec are a jump-bind bound to c, and has mousewheel up bound to duck and mousewheel down bound to jump. He also rebinds his console to " ' " (apostrophe) in case you get confused after executing the file.
bind "c" "+jump ; -attack;"; r_drawtracers_firstperson 0; volume 0.01; zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse 1; bind mwheelup "+duck"; bind mwheeldown; "+jump"; fps_max 300 ;viewmodel_presetpos 3; m_customaccel 0; snd_mixahead "0.05"; snd_musicvolume "0"; snd_headphone_pan_exponent "2; snd_headphone_pan_radial_weight "2; snd_pitchquality "1"; dsp_enhance_stereo "0"; m_mousespeed 0; cl_cmdrate "128"; cl_updaterate "128"; rate "786432"; snd_musicvolume 0.25; bind p "exec autoexec"; snd_front_headphone_position "90.0"; bind ' toggleconsole; net_graph 1; hud_showtargetid 0; r_dynamic 0; cl_forcepreload 1; bind mouse5 +voicerecord; cl_teamid_overhead_always 1; cl_radar_scale 0.5; bind f "+lookatweapon; r_cleardecals"; safezonex 0.90; echo ained
