Shadowlands 9.2 Armor Tier Sets Revealed
New Shadowlands 9.2 Armor Tier Sets have been revealed for World of Warcraft.
On Nov. 11, Blizzard posted a developer preview of the upcoming Eternity's End update to the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel. The video covered the artistic inspiration and lore of the new realm, Zereth Mortis, as well as some of the new content being added with Eternity's End. Eternity's End will be the final update for the World of Warcraft Shadowlands expansion that began this month last year.
Shadowlands 9.2 Armor Tier Sets Revealed
Armor Tier Sets are making a return to World of Warcraft in the 9.2 update with the Progenitor Tier. Tier Set armors are class distinctive sets of armor that give powerful bonuses to a player's stats when wearing enough of the set's pieces. For the Progenitor set, players will receive bonuses when wearing two pieces of the set and another bonus when wearing four of the set's pieces.
We don't have specific details on how the Progenitor Set will function, but we do know that each class will get a specific set of bonuses catered to their abilities. The armor set of each class is also designed to be distinctive from each other to get each class a feeling of personality.
As of this writing, there is no official release date for the Eternity's End patch. Patch 9.1.5 was released just barely over a week ago, so it is likely that Blizzard is in no rush to push out patch 9.2.
However, since Blizzard has acknowledged this is the last patch of the expansion, they'll most likely release early next year, giving enough time before the launch of the next expansion late 2022.
