Shiny Alolan Pokémon GO will arrive at 4 p.m. ET Friday in celebration of Pokémon GO's third anniversary.
Players will be able to encounter Shiny Alolan Pokémon like Sandshrew, Vulpix, Meowth, Geodude. You can grab them until 4 p.m. ET July 6.

Shiny Alolan Pokémon GO: Why is This Happening?
Because it's the third anniversary of Pokémon GO silly! From June 28 at 4 p.m. ET to July 6 at 4 p.m. ET. Shiny Alolan isn't the only benefit as fans can get new avatar items will be available in the shop and special limited-time features and perks. On top of that, Party Hat Pikachu will photobomb your photos and hatch from 7km Eggs for the entire of the event.
