Sierra Pokemon GO April 2021: How to Beat

Sierra is a Team GO Rocket gym leader, and today we will be explaining the Pokemon that she uses and how to beat her team in April 2021. One of the three Team GO Rocket gym leaders, players must first defeat Team GO Rocket grunts before being able to find her, Cliff or Arlo. All three take direct orders from their boss Giovanni, who may be in a tricky situation right now.

Round 1

She begins with Carvanha, a Water/Dark Pokemon. Some counters against Carvanha are:

• Breloom with Counter and Dynamic Punch

• Deoxys with Charge Beam and Thuderbolt

• Machamp with Karate Chop and Dynamic Punch

• Sirfetchd with Counter and Leaf Blade

Round 2

Once you defeat Carvanha, there are three possible Pokemon that Sierra may use against you, the Ground-type Hippowdon, Mismagius the purple Ghost-type with what resembles a witch's hat, or the Normal-type Porygon-Z.

When up against Hippowdon, your best bet lies in:

• Kingler with Bubble and Crabhammer

• Kyogre with Waterfall and Surf

• Galarian Darmanitan with Ice Fang and Avalanche

• Mamoswine with Powder Snow and Avalanche

If Sierra chose Mismagius, it's best if you choose the following:

• Chandelure with Hex and Shadow Ball

• Darkrai with Snarl and Dark Pulse

• Giratina (Origin) with Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball

• Mewtwo with Psycho Cut and Shadow Ball

Round 3

You've come this far, you better not lose! Your opponent will choose either a Flygon, Houndoom, or a Walrein, in which case you should counter with:

When fighting Flygon

• Galarian Darmanitan with Ice Fang and Avalanche

• Glaceon with Frost Breath and Avalanche

• Mamoswine with Powder Snow and Avalanche

• Weavile with Ice Shard and Avalanche

When fighting Houndoom

• Conkeldurr with Counter and Dynamic Punch

• Kyogre with Waterfall and Surf

• Rampardos with Smack Down and Rock Slide

• Rhyperior with Mud-Slap and Rock Wrecker

When fighting Walrein

• Conkeldurr with Counter and Dynamic Punch

• Lucario with Counter and Aura Sphere

• Machamp with Counter and Dynamic Punch

• Zekrom with Charge Beam and Wild Charge
