Skwovet Location, Evolution, Stats: Pokemon Sword and Shield

Skwovet is one of the newest Galarian Pokemon found in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Game Freak's first mainline Pokemon Game on the Nintendo Switch. Is Skwovet worth keeping on your team, or should you just catch one to fill the Pokedex and forget about it for the rest of your journey through the Galar Region?

Skwovet Location

Skwovet can be found in most of the areas you traverse in the very early stages of the game. Routes 1-5, Dappled Grove, Motostoke Riverbank, North Lake Miloch, Rolling Fields, Slumbering Weald, and Watchtower Ruins are full of Skwovet. Skwovet can also be an opponent in Max Raid Battles.

Skwovet Evolution

Skwovet will evolve into Greedent at level 24, which is pretty much a larger and furrier version of Skwovet. The evolutionary line is very similar to that of Bidoof and Bibarel from Generation IV. Overall, this evolutionary line doesn't have a whole lot of value when it comes to battling, so once you've evolved your Skwovet into a Greedent, you're better off just leaving it in the PC.

Overall, Skwovet is a pretty weak Pokemon that you will not find a lot of success with.
