Soe Moves to Desk Host for Overwatch League Season 3

Salome Soe Gschwind Penski will move into a desk hosting role for Overwatch League Season 3, she announced Wednesday.

Soe revealed the information in a Twitter video, performing the song "Cups (When I'm Gone)" from the film "Pitch Perfect" with new lyrics revealing her new position.

"A new year, a new role...exciting times ahead!" Soe wrote alongside the video. "Looking forward to another year in the @overwatchleague - I'll try my best to make y'all proud as I'm taking on some new responsibilities for the upcoming season. Thank you for your continued support!"

Soe began the Overwatch League as an interviewer before moving to a desk analyst role. Her current role will have her filling the shoes of both Chris Puckett and Malik Forté, who, along with Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles, Erik "DoA" Lonnquist and August "Semmler" Massonnat, left the broadcast team ahead of Season 3.

Soe's song briefly addressed the talent exodus, saying she'll miss those who departed.

Overwatch League Season 3 begins Feb. 8.
