Sonic x Shadow Generations Release Date

Sonic Generations appeared in 2011 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, and Nintendo 3DS. In it, players saw the modern and classic versions of Sonic and Tails team up to defeat Dr. Eggman's past and present forms. A remastered version of Sonic Generations brings several exciting changes to the title, and players can't wait for its release.

Sonic X Shadow Generations Release Date

There's no confirmed release date for Sonic X Shadow Generations yet, but it's set to come out in Autumn 2024 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

Unlike the 2011 version, Shadow the Hedgehog is a playable character in the updated title. Shadow gets his own storyline, in which the hedgehog goes back in time to defeat Black Doom and stop him from taking over the world. It seems players will only get to play as Shadow's modern version in Sonic X Shadow Generations.

The 2024 revamped title also shows classic 2D and 3D scenes from the previous game with gorgeous, updated graphics. Not only that, but there will be new powers, never-before-seen abilities, and bonus content in Sonic X Shadow Generations.

We have yet to find out how much the game will cost. If we had to guess, it'll probably cost the full retail price on each console.
