Teamfight Tactics Patch 13.24B Changes Teased by Riot Mortdog

Teamfight Tactics Patch 13.24B was announced and teased by Riot Mortdog following the conclusion of the TFT Vegas Open.

Patch 13.24B is set to be a bridge between now and Patch 14.1, for League of Legends specifically and seemingly Teamfight Tactics as well. Riot Mortdog, Lead Designer for TFT at Riot Games, announced on Twitter post-Vegas Open that there would be some nerfs, but most buffs for this new update.

"Expect some nerfs to a few items and augments, and then mostly buffs to champs and traits we didn't see much of. Won't be a large patch, but as we know, event he small ones can change a lot," Mortdog said in a social media post.

As far as which traits players expect to see buffed, EDM, Mosher, Bruiser and Punk are likely to receive changes. Punk has a unique skillset allowing players to re-roll cheap at the start of each turn, but only two units current feel like they have any major value. Vi does not stack up compared to Pantheon, same goes for Twitch when compared to Jinx.

As far as nerfs go, Mortdog only announced changes to Items and Augments. Perhaps some trait or unit nerfs are also being worked on, but we'll have to wait and see if anything comes to fruition.

Teamfight Tactics Patch 13.24B Release Date

Both League of Legends and TFT Patches 13.24 were released Dec. 6. Traditionally, there are two weeks in-between patches for Riot Games titles. 13.24B is an update on the previously withstanding patch considering there are no more major updates before Season 2024. So, based on previously scheduled, 13.24B will likely release Wednesday, Dec. 20. Though, the release date has not been officially confirmed.
