The TFT K/DA Cup is around the corner as the first event on the road to the Regional Finals for Set 10: Remix Rumble begins on Jan. 6.
Fans of TFT Esports won't have to wait much longer after a layoff following the Vegas Open. The K/DA Cup is the first of two cups that lead into the Regional Finals taking place Feb. 23-25. It is a four-day tournament spanning two weekends with Regional Finals qualification and cash on the line. Here's everything you need to know about the Teamfight Tactics K/DA Cup.

Teamfight Tactics K/DA Cup Format
The K/DA Cup takes place over four days spanning two weekends. The first weekend of competition will be Jan. 6-7 with the second taking place Jan. 13-14.
Here's the breakdown for each day of competition:
Day 1 - Jan. 6
- 128 players play six games
- Lobbies shuffle every two games
- Top 64 advance to Day 2
- Bonus Points awarded at beginning of Day 2 (Top 24 = 1 Point, Top 16 = 2 Points, Top 8 = 3 Points)
Day 2 - Jan. 7
- 64 players play six games
- Lobbies shuffle every two games
- Top 32 advance to Day 3
Day 3 - Jan. 13
- 64 players play six games (32 from Day 2, 32 qualify as High Seed)
- Lobbies shuffle every two games
- Top 32 advance to Day 4 (same bonus points awarded for placings as Day 1)
Day 4 - Jan. 14
- 32 players play five games
- Lobbies shuffle every two games
- Top 16 advance to Penultimate Lobbies without Points Reset
- Penultimate Lobbies feature 16 players, each play one more game
- Top 8 from Penultimate Lobbies advance to Final Lobby without Points Reset
- Final Lobby is eight players in one final game
- Top 4 qualify from Final Lobby to Regional Finals
Teamfight Tactics K/DA Cup Prize Pool
The total prize pool for the K/DA Cup is $12,500. The breakdown is as follows:
- 1st - $3,500 + NA Regional Finals Invite
- 2nd - $2,500 + NA Regional Finals Invite
- 3rd - $1,750 + NA Regional Finals Invite
- 4th - $1,250 + NA Regional Finals Invite
- 5th - $900
- 6th - $700
- 7th - $500
- 8th - $400
- 9th-12th - $250

How to Watch the TFT K/DA Cup
Days 1 and 2 will not feature a main broadcast from Riot Games. Players competing in the K/DA Cup might stream gameplay (with or without a delay) depending on their comfort level with broadcasting matches. Keep an eye out to see if your favorite competitor will be streaming. When the K/DA Cup arrives, we'll keep track of notable players who are broadcasting live.
Days 3 and 4 will have a main broadcast from Riot Games. Fans can likely find broadcasts on YouTube or Twitch through official channels.
