The Elden Ring Character Creation Menu Has Been Leaked
By Jack O'Dwyer
An incomplete version of the character creation menu from Elden Ring has been leaked from the game's closed network test.
First reported by VGC, a still-unfinished version of the official character creation menu of Elden Ring has been leaked. In the preview video below, uploaded to the ER-SA YouTube channel, fans can see just how in-depth the customization truly goes. It is currently unclear how users were able to gain access to the menu but, as an incomplete build, it certainly has impressive implications.

There are a variety of variables players will be able to manipulate if the preview is to be believed. While everything is still unlabeled, flicking around the menu screen and adjusting the sliders provides a clear picture of what can be adjusted.
The first minute-or-so goes over the changes that can be made to the character's body. Players can change the skin tone to any color under the Sun, muscle tone, body type, gear, and—from what we can tell—age appearance of the character.
As far as picking custom colors goes, players will be able to select their own color value by using value gradient and color slider tools. They can also input the exact RGB value if they have a specific tone in mind.
The latter part explores the immense amount of detail that can be worked into the character's face. From narrowing cheekbones to widening eyes, messing with the hair cut and color—of which the render looks fantastic—and facial hairstyle, players can create a character that looks as realistic or cartoony as they'd prefer. Much like the skin tone, the hair color can also be customized.
Elden Ring releases on February 25, 2022.
