By Jack O'Dwyer
Players are reporting Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is throwing an "Out of Memory" error.
Connection issues aren't the only problem facing players of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Some are still unable to startup the game at all, leading to a plethora of errors such as the game stating that there simply isn't enough memory left to run the software in the first place.
Here's how players can fix this unfortunate issue.
How to Fix Tiny Tina's Wonderlands "Out of Memory" Error
We recommend players check their individual system specifications against the game's system requirements before proceeding. They may also want to verify their game's files and make sure the game, itself, is up to date.
There are a couple of ways this could manifest from long or permanent loading screens to an error message being thrown up automatically. Fortunately, there are a couple of fixes players can use to get things back on the road—depending on the GPU brand players are using.
NVIDIA
Players using a NVIDIA GPU should follow these instructions:
- Open the "Nvidia Control Panel."
- Navigate to "3D Settings."
- From the 3D Settings menu, select "Program Settings." This will bring up the option to select a game to adjust.
- Select "Tiny Tina's Wonderlands" from Program Settings.
- Locate the "Preferred Graphics" option and select "High-performance Nvidia Processor."
- Save and apply these changes.
AMD Radeon
AMD Radeon players should follow these instructions:
- Open the "Radeon Settings" menu.
- Locate "Preferences."
- Under Preferences, find and select "Additional Settings."
- Under Additional Settings, find and select "Power."
- Under Power, find and select "Switchable Graphics Application Settings." This will allow players the opportunity to select the game they wish to adjust.
- Select "Tiny Tina's Wonderlands" from the Switchable Graphics menu.
- With the game selected, locate the "Graphics Settings" menu and select "High-Performance profile."
- Save and apply these changes.
If the above option doesn't work, then it's likely not the GPU but the GPU driver that's throwing an issue. It could be malfunctioning, out of date, or simply experiencing a mismatch with the software. Players should either reinstall, update, or rollback their drivers to a previous version to fix this problem.
Tina Tiny's Wonderlands is currently available for Microsoft Windows PCs, the Xbox One/Series S|X, and the PlayStation 4/5.
