Top 5 Call of Duty Multiplayer Maps of All Time
In gaming, there is perhaps no list more chalked full of beloved multiplayer maps than that of the Call of Duty series.
In the last 20 years, across 19 mainline titles and counting, let alone its ever-popular free-to-play Mobile and Warzone titles, the Call of Duty franchise has undeniably been one of the most iconic first-person shooter series in the genre.
Of course, the concept of trying to make a list of the "best" maps of all time is impossible. However, hopefully, many can agree that at the very least, each of these entries has an argument to be in the conversion at all. Here are five of the best Call of Duty multiplayer maps of all time.
Top 5 Call of Duty Multiplayer Maps of All Time
5. Raid (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2)
The large mansion map located in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, Raid first debuted in 2012 with the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and has been brought back to life in Call of Duty Online, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (Blackout), Call of Duty: Mobile, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. An incredibly unique and popular map in the series.
4. Highrise (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2)
Set atop a nearly constructed skyscraper with two office buildings on opposite sides of the map, Highrise from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one that is sorely deserving of a remaster. Having only made appearances in Call of Duty Online and Call of Duty: Mobile since its 2009 release, this map was truly something to experience back in its day.
3. Firing Range (Call of Duty: Black Ops)
A hotbed for high-scoring games as well perhaps the most "fair" small map in series history, there's a reason Firing Range has been revived in Call of Duty: Online, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and Call of Duty: Mobile.
2. Terminal (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2)
A fantastic blend of inside and outside, short-range and long-range, low ground and high ground, and overall theme, Terminal from MW2 is a masterpiece. Other titles it's been added to in some form are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty Online, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Call of Duty: Mobile.
1. Nuketown (Call of Duty: Black Ops)
This Black Ops staple has been remastered nine different times across six different Call of Duty titles. While it's certainly chaotic as hell and perhaps a bit overplayed, there's no denying that it is one of, if the most popular map ever seen in the series. Nuketown has always been synonymous with Call of Duty.
