Only 12 COD teams made it out of the first round based on their score after the first four hours, and after an incredibly intense match, Team Aydan emerged as the winner. Team Aydan included Aydan, Zack "ZLaner" Lane, and Jordan "HusKerrs" Thomas. The team took home $35,000 of the prize money for dropping over 109 kills in a single match — a trios world record.
The tournament employed the "kill race" format, which means all teams competed in public lobbies. Points were earned through eliminations, each worth one point. Placements in each match were worth points as follows:
- Victory: 25 points
- Top 2: 20 points
- Top 3: 15 points
- Top 4: 10 points
- Top 7: 7 points
- Top 10: 4 points
- Top 15: 2 points
- Top 20: 1 point
The event was split into two rounds, the first taking four hours, the second 2.5 hours. At the end of each round, each team's best five matches were taken from the round and added up to determine their overall standings. The top 12 teams made it out of the first round, and the second round determined the winner. The final standings are as follows:
- 1st Place: Team Aydan
