Valorant Agent Tier List: Every Agent Ranked

Valorant's Closed Beta has been live for over a week now, and thousands of players have been able to test out Riot Games' first shooter. While it feels like Overwatch and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive had a love child, the game is unique on its own.

Agents are clearly a focus and knowing which ones work together will make for a more promising match. While most are useful in the early stages of the game, there are a few that stand out amongst the rest. Here is our Valorant Agent tier list.

S Tier

• Cypher
• Sage
• Brimstone

Having any type of utility will put you above the rest, but these Agents have the best utility in the game. Sage has a resurrection, a heal, a massive floor slow, and a wall that can slow down pushes or cut parts of the map off. Brimstone has the best smokes in the game, and a molotov, on top of an ultimate that can halt pushes, or kill trapped enemies. Cypher can hold down a bombsite by himself, and can cut down certain sections of the map when on offense.

A Tier

• Breach
• Raze
• Omen
• Sova

All four have fantastic utility, but can be a bit more solo focused. While good players will use their abilities for the team, Breach, Raze, and Omen can set themselves up. Raze's grenades and ultimate could make her S Tier, but players are learning more and more how to deal with her, and if Riot Games ever nerfs her abilities, she will definitely be A Tier. Sova is great on defense and offense for gathering intel and looking for picks.

B Tier

• Jett
• Viper
• Phoenix

In reality, every Agent can be useful, and until the community starts to deep dive on strategies to shut down certain Agents, everyone can be viable. All three of these Agents can hard carry a game, but there are Agents that do what they do, but slightly better. It's just based on play style at the end of the day.
