With a new Valorant episode comes some new skins. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming Prelude to Chaos skin line.

Valorant's Episode 5 Act 1 is just around the corner. Kicking off immediately after Episode 4 Act III ends on June 22, players will be thrust into a variety of new content, from a new map, new battlepass, and some brand new skins.

The Prelude to Chaos is one such skin line making its way into the new Act, aiming to bring some dark, sci-fi themes to player arsenals. As for the concept behind the skins, Associate Art Director Sean Marino said, "We noticed that a lot of players loved the Reaver skins but we didn’t have a sci-fi skin that hit the same dark tone as Reaver. We literally asked ourselves, “what would edgelords who love sci-fi want in a skin? What would it feel like to kill a demon?”"

"Looking at Reaver, the audio and animations were what sold the power fantasy the most, so we invested a lot into custom animations and sounds for the reload, equip, idle, and inspect."

Valorant's Episode 5 Act I: Prelude to Chaos skin bundle is a XE Tier bundle and will cost players 8,700 VP.

When Does the Prelude to Chaos Skin Bundle Release?

The Prelude to Chaos skin bundle will be available in Valorant on June 22, 2022, the same day that Episode 5 Act I launches.
