Valorant Free Agent Not Working: Is There a Fix?
Valorant free agent is not working is an issue players are running into, according to multiple posts on the game's Reddit page.
Riot Games' first-person shooter was released Tuesday after months of anxious waiting from fans. Players who had seen the game played on Twitch during the closed beta finally got their hands on the agents and take them for a spin.
After completing the first five tiers of starter quests in Valorant, players are supposed to be rewarded with a free new agent. However, there appears to be a problem with players not being able to unlock the agent, even after completing all the necessary quests.
We're aware of issues with players not being able to earn rewards from the Battlepass. We have fixed this moving forward for everywhere but APAC. Next we'll move on to getting you back what you should have earned by now.

Under the Valorant Reddit page, a user Taxed_ shared their issues, and said that a message reading "Play some games to receive a free agent unlock" appeared on his screen. Other users under the post explained that they were experiencing similar issues, and that more advanced quests were not giving out their rewards either.
Valorant has been experiencing bugs since it was released, with the official Valorant Twitter page releasing multiple statements regarding actions being taken to fix the problems. Servers in the APAC and SEA regions were even taken down yesterday for emergency maintenance.
Hopefully for fans, the early period bugs will be corrected soon and the game can start for real. Players should also check out how to unlock more agents.
