First, you log out and login again to the game. If that does not help, then you must restart your device. If logging out or restarting does not help, don't worry.
When facing an error in Valorant, a code should pop up and you can search for that specific error in Riot Games' Support section. To name a few error codes that seem to be common un Valorant, know this:
- Error Code 4 means that your display name is invalid. This is an error with your Riot ID, which you can change.
- Code 5 means that the account was logged into elsewhere. The solution is to log out from all devices and consoles.
- Error code 29 indicates an issue with your network. On top of that, you need to make sure that Valorant is allowed past your firewall. On Windows 10 you can hit Start and type "allow an app through Windows Firewall."
