Valorant Patch 3.02 will see a lot of the same weapons retain their current strengths, with two of the guns earning higher placements due to community discoveries that make both on the borderline of broken.

Valorant Patch 3.02 Weapon Tier List

S-Tier

  • Operator
  • Vandal
  • Phantom

Until there's a major change in the price of these weapons, specifically the Vandal and Phantom, these are always the go-to weapons for most situations. The Operator is arguably one of the better guns in the game to choose for sniper players if the economy is there for them as the price is still 4,700 credits in order to purchase.

High A-Tier

  • Odin
  • Ares
  • Stinger
  • Bulldog
  • Ghost
  • Guardian

Yes, the A-Tier weapons are split. Although they are a high-tiered gun, some of them are just slightly better due to some of the mechanics of the gun and its price in the shop as well. The latest discovery of the "quick burst" firing from both the Bulldog and Stinger bring the value of the guns higher than how they should be. On top of that, the priority of having the heavy machine guns in the hands of the defending side has become almost a necessity to both slow the incoming attack and to help "wall bang" those that are trying to invade the site.

Low A-Tier

  • Sheriff
  • Spectre
  • Marshall

These guns are actually very good, the only thing is that it may have lost its shine compared to some of the other ones above it. However, these guns have not fallen off entirely for them to warrant a drop in the B-Tier because the weapons are still strong.

B-Tier

  • Classic
  • Bucky
  • Judge

The classic is a great weapon that costs nothing, but also doesn't raise any eyebrows when it comes to plays unless they're exclusively in the pistol rounds. When ahead, it's better to just upgrade the pistol into something way better than the Classic, or just not use the gun unless it's an emergency situation anyways. As far as the shotguns go, they are fine when used to instill fear into enemies early on. However, when people start figuring out where someone with the shotgun plays, it becomes a little predictable and easier to make them irrelevant. For that reason alone, shotguns belong in the tier that's almost as low as the lowest.

C-Tier

  • Frenzy
  • Shorty

The only practical application for these at the moment is for very close-range combat and by the time that happens, an enemy can usually click faster if they're peeking a corner first. Players are better off choosing other guns that can do the same job, but better.
