After initially delaying last week's update to this week, Riot Games have since announced the latest Valorant patch as planned, but have also delayed its release.

Here's a breakdown of when Valorant Patch 4.05 is set to drop.

When Will Valorant Patch 4.05 Release?

At the time of writing, Riot has announced that since they have ran into "some late issues," players should "expect some delays" to the release of Patch 4.05.

Of course, this means that there's no official timetable for when exactly the update could release, whether it be a few hours or a few days.

Ultimately, it's not too surprising that there were some issues regarding the rollout of the patch considering it's set to bring two major system updates to the free-to-play title.

One is that players will be able to use automatically-generated codes to import and export custom crosshair profiles. Soon going extinct are the days of fiddling with inner and outer lines to get your favorite content creator or pro player's crosshair.

The other is that the Deterministic Map System that has been tested in the LATAM region since Patch 4.04 is set to be enabled for all regions, which should increase the variety of maps that players randomly draw.

The patch is also slated to fix the bug causing Sova’s Recon Bolt to be destroyed by Brimstone’s Orbital Strike even if the Recon Bolt was well out of the area.

Speaking of the American Controller agent, the overarching dialogue for the upcoming patch thus far has mainly been dominated by the heavy Stim Beacon nerfs coming to Brimstone — reducing its charges down to one per round while also increasing its cost two-fold.

As such, feel free to try and get those double Stim Beacon plays off while you still can before Patch 4.05 officially rolls out.
